Possessing an increasingly dynamic M&A practice, Greenberg Traurig added a raft of new clients during 2023/24, including consumer products platform Sweet Oak, which it represented in its $625m acquisition of Whole Earth Brands. The team also supports its broad base of domestic and multinational companies and private equity clients on sell-side M&A and investment transactions. A quartet of dealmakers heads up the national group including Bruce March, who is the key name in Fort Lauderdale where he focuses on private equity-related work, and Miami-based veteran Alan Annex, who frequently handles large-cap and middle-market M&A deals. The department is additionally co-led by Los Angeles-based Mark Kelson, who contributes experience in the life sciences, TMT, consumer products, energy, and financial services areas, and New York's Ejim Achi, who specializes in representing private equity sponsors.
