Work highlights

Serving as outside general counsel to the Bob Marley Estate, including: (i) pursuing international litigation against an individual falsely claiming to be Marley’s child who has engaged in a global harassment and infringement campaign; (ii) handling a $13m licensing dispute with Tilray Brands over unpaid guarantees related to Marley-branded cannabis products; and (iii) negotiating and clearing rights for Bob Marley Hope Road, an immersive Las Vegas experience at the Mandalay Bay Hotel, while pursuing related trademark protection.
Serving as outside general and litigation counsel to Horror, Inc., owner of the iconic Friday the 13th franchise. We devised and executed a strategy to recapture rights previously dispersed over decades, enabling Horror to: (i) terminate New Line Cinema’s feature film and ancillary rights; (ii) secure major new licensing deals, including Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights 2025 and a collaboration with Boston Beer’s Angry Orchard brand; (iii) negotiate a landmark television series rights deal with A24 for a 2026 debut; and (iv) oversee audits of prior films and the successful Friday the 13th video game.
