Position
Daniel has extensive experience advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies, along with other public and private companies, on a broad range of complex transactions, including platform and add-on acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, carve-outs, strategic mergers, structured growth investments, dispositions, special situations transactions and joint ventures. He also counsels clients on various general corporate and governance matters.
Daniel has led numerous transactions across a wide variety of industry verticals for distinguished private equity clients, including Brentwood Associates, Emerald Lake Capital Management, FTV Capital, Highview Capital, KKR and Oaktree Capital Management.
Among other accolades, Daniel has been recognized by The Legal 500 as a Recommended Lawyer for M&A: Middle-Market (Sub-$500M), as well as by the Los Angeles Business Journal as a Leader of Influence: Private Equity, Investors & Advisors. He also currently teaches M&A Due Diligence as an Adjunct Professor at the UCLA School of Law.
Daniel began his career in the corporate department at Latham & Watkins in Los Angeles, and he was a Partner at a boutique law firm prior to joining Massumi + Consoli.
