Lori Ferguson

Lori Ferguson serves as Partner and General Counsel at Kuiper Law Firm, where she also leads the firm’s litigation department. In this dual role, she directs strategic oversight of the firm’s legal operations while guiding complex litigation matters from inception through resolution.

With more than a decade of legal experience, Lori brings deep strength in both transactional and dispute-resolution arenas. Her practice encompasses commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, commercial collections, and oil and gas title matters, balanced with an ability to litigate contractual and commercial disputes.

As head of litigation, Lori ensures that the firm’s strategies align with client objectives, exercising day-to-day leadership over case planning, resource allocation, and trial preparation.

Her leadership as General Counsel further extends to providing in-house counsel for the firm itself—steering internal legal risk management, compliance, and governance.

Lori is licensed to practice in Texas, Montana, and Mississippi, as well as in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. She earned a B.A. from Tulane University and her J.D. from South Texas College of Law.
