Akin is a global force in restructurings. Its giant team, spread across the US, Europe and Asia, has worked on many of the multi-billion dollar restructurings around the world. It frequently acts for official creditors’ committees and ad hoc groups, while also representing debtors and significant investors in major engagements. Ira Dizengoff is global head of the financial restructuring practice and has an established record in major distressed and bankruptcy-related matters; he has represented official creditors’ committees on some of the largest restructurings in the market. Philip Dublin is practice group leader of the financial restructuring group and is also a prominent figure in representing official creditors’ committees and ad hoc groups in large-scale restructurings.
