Recognized in the renewables and alternative energy market for its expertise in M&A, secured lending, and project development, Latham & Watkins LLP‘s energy and infrastructure group is a popular choice for clients from the alternative power generation, energy storage, and electric power technologies sectors. The practice’s offering extends beyond transactions and development to include advice on tax matters, litigation, and environmental compliance on both a domestic and international level. With its deep industry knowledge, the department has amassed new and impressive clients to its roster, as well as new practitioners; project development expert Daniel Sinaiko joined the team from A&O Shearman in April 2024 and was followed by tax specialist Scott Cockerham in September. Co-heading the group are Houston-based Trina Chandler and Washington DC’s Ethan Schultz.
