Dispute resolution
Dana Seshens, co-head of civil litigation at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, remains a key advisor on securities litigation with further experience in arbitrations. A highlight of her work in the previous year was the representation of Morgan Stanley against claims of fraud brought by German bank IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG relating to the sale of residential mortgage-backed securities between 2005 and 2007. She successfully defended the bank against these claims with the plaintiffs conceding at a hearing that they could not prove their claims.
