Career

Growing up as the son of a commercial fisherman on the Texas Gulf Coast, Ross learned to brave rough seas by being clever, resourceful and observant. An insightful and strategic thinker, Ross takes care to understand problems with a 360-degree perspective aimed at putting clients in the best spot at the right time. More than a lawyer, clients consider him to be their trusted counsel.
Representing clients in a wide scope of commercial litigation, Ross focuses his practice on matters involving high-stakes business and contract disputes, employment litigation and intellectual property conflicts.

Ross’s clients are quick to praise his work. One CEO put it best: “[W]e found ourselves in . . . a bet-the-company kind of case . . . .Ross [and co-counsel] educated me [as] well as navigated me through the process, and it was a pleasure to watch as they thoroughly dissected and discredited the opposing counsel’s case.  We won on every issue.  I would recommend . . . Ross and Bell Nunnally without hesitation.” Ross’s first client, who continues to work with him, observed that “[i]t is easy to find lawyers. It is difficult to find truly trusted counsel . . .   [I] never hesitate to recommend [Ross and Bell Nunnally] to my friends for their corporate, entrepreneurial, or personal matters.” Another long-time client has noted that Ross “do[es his] due diligence to ensure he understands every problem 360 degrees. He is a brilliant thinker, and while knowledgeable about a wide variety of legal topics, Ross never hesitate[s] to bring in other[s] . . . within Bell Nunnally to compliment and better support me in . . . very important and considerably delicate matters . . . ” Ross is someone he “implicitly trust[s] to give [him] the best possible advice and counsel,” further noting that he finds Ross to be “unsurpassed in integrity, honor, work ethic, and relationships building,” and giving Ross his highest recommendation. Enjoying deep relationships with clients, Ross helps to guide them through the important legal decisions that position their matters for successful outcomes.

Ross has represented clients based in India, Taiwan, Canada, England and Italy in their American legal matters. Working with international professionals, he has helped guide American clients through legal matters in Canada, Mexico, Honduras, Colombia and South Korea.
