Hailing from Watkinsville, Georgia, Adam earned degrees in drama and political science from the Honors College at the University of Georgia, where he served as the president of its Student Government Association. He then headed to Columbia University to earn a law degree and a master’s of arts in Politics and Education. Adam practiced law at a Global 50 law firm in Washington, D.C. before providing legal and policy assistance to Georgia political campaigns and to clerk for several judges at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

Work highlights

Participated in a two-week federal trial that successfully demonstrated that the State of Georgia violated Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. The trial resulted in a federal court order to redraw the state’s legislative and congressional districting maps. Multiple appeals are pending in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
