Alaco is retained by a wide variety of clients to assist in contentious and complex disputes, often across multiple jurisdictions, and has been operating as an investigations firm since its foundation in 2002. The firm conducts asset tracing and recovery investigations on behalf of both corporates and sovereigns, working alongside leading law firms across the globe, with work split fairly evenly between both types of clients. Nikos Asimakopoulos heads up Alaco’s disputes and asset recovery practice, overseeing the execution of key matters and acting as a trusted advisor to the firm’s clients. Nicolae Reutoi is director of the disputes advisory practice, with Luke Gunning an associate director and Cleo Newton as a senior associate.
