Görkem Gökçe, the founding partner of Gökçe, has worked in several reputable international law firms following his graduation from Istanbul University Faculty of Law, while continuing his graduate studies in Istanbul University. As part of his graduate studies, he took commercial law courses at Harvard University, US. He founded Gökçe Attorney Partnership in 2010 and took part in various mergers and acquisitions, project finance and privatization projects. He received several awards due to his work on Internet ventures.
Görkem has represented during his career several local and international clients, international and domestic media groups and leading entertainment companies. Görkem acted as the Secretary to the British-Turkish Association between 2008 and 2010; he is also the Turkey representative of International Technology Law Association, Associate Member of the Esports Bar Association and he has been recommended for several law practice areas in Legal 500 lists. He is a Supervisory Board member at Endeavor Turkey. Görkem is the author of the first book on e-sports law in Turkey.
He has key expertise in technology and internet-based businesses, he also represents his clients on several complex and voluminous commercial disputes. He provides legal consultancy on compliance, intellectual property, internet, IT and technology sectors to several Turkish and foreign clients.
