Roschier‘s EU and competition offering remains strong, with experience in handling a broad array of complex and novel mandates such as EU phase I and II mergers, merger remedy cases, and cartel investigations. As well as this, the group is growing its FDI offering, advising on a range of filings and transactions. Emma Johansson heads the practice, where she has extensive experience supporting major antitrust investigations and litigations, alongside FDI control matters. Working alongside her is Kristian Hugmark, who has over 20 years of experience handling competition law work in Brussels and Stockholm- advising clients across the media, transport, and pharma industries. Johan Wahlbom joined the team from the Swedish Competition Authority in 2025 and brings experience in a range of antitrust investigations.

Kristian Hugmark, Partner and Head of the Stockholm office, is also Head of Roschier’s EU & Competition practice and co-Head of the Corporate Compliance & Investigations practice in Sweden. He practices in all areas of competition law and state aid in Sweden and in the EU, across all industries.
