Work highlights

Advised Persimmon Homes Limited on the high-profile, high-value acquisition of land, pursuant to historic option agreements, for the extension of the Cranbrook development in Exeter by up to 1,435 homes and including a school, a neighbourhood centre, and play areas.
Successfully challenged the validity of a break notice served such that the lease term continued and an agreement was reached to provide an early release of the tenant in return for a significant payment.
Retained by Lidl to advise on issues across its properties in England and Wales including securing vacant possession from several tenants on expiry of 1954 Act protected leases to enable Lidl to occupy the premises for its own purposes.
