Work highlights

Represented an employee facing claims for breach of contract and conspiracy related to the alleged theft of trade secrets and confidential information. The claimants were alleging multi-million pound losses. The case involved detailed disclosure and the need for IT forensic experts, which eventually established that the claimant had not suffered any provable loss. The case settled in December 2024, which avoided a full hearing.
Successfully advised Euro Accessories Ltd on a complex Employment Tribunal claim for unfair dismissal and disability discrimination, including personal injury. The case involved a detailed analysis of the tribunal’s jurisdiction in relation to personal injury claims and compensation for personal injury arising out of discrimination, and issues relating to the employer’s liability insurance.
Advised a leading Financial Services Provider on the exit arrangements for a senior individual with LLP memberships, directorships and employment across 22 legal entities with a complex remuneration structure across the associated entities requiring meticulous drafting of the most complicated settlement agreement including bonus issues, share ownership for employee and spouse, tax complications and a potential protected characteristic of disability for mental health issues.
