Hogan Lovells Lee & Lee has expanded its team in recent years, particularly following the hire of Matt Bubb in late 2023. Bubb is noted for his expertise in power, renewables, energy, oil and gas, natural resources and infrastructure sectors. Stephen Clugston and David Rho have joined him in the team, adding further expertise in renewables and energy transition, including LNG, hydrogen and ammonia projects; Clugston has a background in private capital-backed renewable energy platforms, while Rho is specifically targeting the LNG sector in key markets such as Vietnam and Indonesia. The group advises lenders, sponsors and developers, and has worked on a series of major renewable energy developments in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, along with sizeable social infrastructure projects, a toll road public-private partnership (PPP) project in Bangladesh and a utility-scale solar project in Singapore, among other significant engagements.
