Position
John is the Managing Partner of our Singapore office.
He specialises in all aspects of finance matters including general banking, debt capital markets, structured finance, aircraft and shipping finance, acquisition finance, real estate finance, securitisation, private equity and general corporate transactions. His clients frequently comment on how much they appreciate his responsiveness and commercial approach.
From 2003, John was based in our Hong Kong office and then relocated to Singapore in 2009 to open our office there.
John also sits on the Walkers' Group Management Committee.
Career
Prior to joining Walkers, John worked in the asset finance team at Clifford Chance in London before being seconded to a finance team in the Hong Kong office of Clifford Chance in 2001. During his time with Clifford Chance in Hong Kong he spent 8 months on secondment to a major French financial institution in a project finance team.
