CMS‘s arbitration practice spans an array of industries, including energy, infrastructure and construction, tech, media and telecoms, insurance and the life sciences sectors. The group has a strong regional disputes base, as well as an international arbitration practice equipped to operate out of major hubs globally. The department is under the co-leadership of Lakshanthi Fernando, a solicitor-advocate who has strong credentials in the tech, media and banking sectors, notably within the South East and North Asia areas. Co-head Lynette Chew’s practice straddles contentious and non-contentious work, utilising her strong expertise in infrastructure, construction and engineering projects. Co-head Kelvin Aw is instructed on a variety of transaction dispute matters.
