The labour and employment department at Estrella LLC draws on the experience of its team to assist national and multinational corporations, including household names such as The Home Depot, Walmart and Chick-fil-A, across such sectors as retail, hospitality, aviation, energy, telecoms, food and beverages, construction and pharmaceuticals, with day-to-day matters and high-stakes litigation. The group’s full offering covers matters related to employee hiring practices, benefits, contracts, disciplinary processes, mandatory leave, employee handbooks and disputes regarding allegations of discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment and wrongful termination, as well as wage and hour claims. The team is led by counsel Maité Medero Benítez, who brings strength to acting for employers in litigation and mediation.
