Career
Szymon Okoń holds a PhD in law and finance and serves as a partner at Schoenherr's Warsaw office since 2024. His expertise lies in the legal and financial aspects of capital markets, banking and finance. He has extensive experience in the regulatory environment of financial markets and advises on information requirements related to trading in financial instruments, including the creation of structures to optimise them. He has participated in numerous proceedings before the Financial Supervisory Authority, the Polish Securities Depository and the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Szymon has consistently been recognised in prestigious international legal rankings, including Legal500, Chambers Global, Chambers Europe and IFLR1000. In addition, he is an assistant professor at the Institute of International Economics at the Warsaw School of Economics.
