Highly experienced across the gamut of corporate and M&A matters, the team at Miranda & Amado demonstrates expertise in sophisticated and high-value transactions, reorganisations and joint ventures. Adopting a multidisciplinary approach by collaborating with the firm's antitrust, regulatory, tax and labour practices, the group regularly participates in regional and cross-border deals, primarily in the electricity and telecoms sectors. Roberto MacLean leads the department and is experienced in corporate finance matters, including the sale and acquisition of private equity and listed companies. Managing partner Luis Miranda concentrates on corporate and investment disputes, while clients come to Bruno Amiel for assistance with project finance and cross-border M&A deals. Nathalie Paredes is a specialist in finance and stock market matters, with a focus on real estate M&A transactions. At the counsel level, Katherine Torres and María Pía Talavera are recognised for their skill in the structuring and negotiation of business reorganisations. Former senior associate Mariano Peró left the firm in July 2024.

His professional practice focuses on transactional and corporate matters, as well as on corporate and investment dispute resolution. He has spearheaded numerous mergers and acquisitions in the past years, counseling local and foreign companies. He also advises international investors in corporate disputes, as well as in investor-state investment disputes. He is a founding partner of Miranda & Amado (1999). Previously, he was an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, New York from 1997 to 1998, and at Estudio Echecopar from 1994 to 1996. Luis is a lawyer from Universidad de Lima and holds an LL.M. from The University of Chicago Law School.
