Work highlights

Represented a group of investors who had fallen victim to the largest Ponzi scheme in Norwegian history (and were subject to massive amounts of Norwegian press during 2024 and 2025) and is now seeking to minimise their losses, including preserving tax deductions over an extended period.
Advising Capital Group (as well as other clients) in cases brought by the Norwegian Tax Administration regarding the tax treatment of manufactured dividends (related to share lending), raising multi-faceted and complex legal questions in cases that are effectively pioneering in a previously unchallenged segment of the Norwegian tax system, where both the share lender and borrower are non-Norwegian entities.
