Career

Margriet Lukkien is a partner in Loyens & Loeff’s International Tax Services practice group.

Margriet Lukkien is tax partner with Loyens & Loeff in Amsterdam, member of the Region Team US. She advises multinationals (especially North-American-based), financial institutions and sovereign wealth funds on Dutch corporate tax and dividend tax aspects and accompanying international tax aspects. Her expertise includes international structuring/restructuring taking into account the OECD and EU developments on BEPS. For 2017-2020 she has been listed as one of the Women in Tax Leaders as published in “The comprehensive guide to the world’s leading female tax advisers” of the International Tax Review. She been ranked in the Legal 500 EMEA 2019 and 2020, most recently as Leading Individual.

She is a board member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (NOB) since June 2021. In addition, she is a member of the International Tax Affairs Section of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (NOB). She is an active member of the International Bar Association (IBA), since she won the 2010 IBA Taxation Scholarship. She was an officer of the IBA Taxes Committee from 2013 -2018 and she was the co-chair of the IBA Taxes Committee for 2019 and 2020.
