Baker McKenzie continues to act on a broad mix of behavioural investigations, merger control and foreign investment screening matters. Practice co-head Frank Kroes brings extensive experience in contentious competition matters, including damages litigation. Fellow co-lead Frans Muller advises on compliance, cartel investigations and transactional competition issues. Derk Christiaans left the firm in January 2026.

Work highlights

Advised APG Asset Management and TenneT in respect of APG's joint venture with KPN regarding the creation of a ‘tower company’ called Althio in the Netherlands which holds all of the parties' macro tower and similar sites in the Netherlands.
