The litigation and regulatory practice at DLA Piper in Amsterdam draws on its international network to advise on global disputes for domestic and international clients. The local team advises on the Dutch aspects of multi-jurisdictional disputes and also handles litigation before Dutch courts. Practice head Marnix Holtzer specialises in corporate litigation and alongside Michiel Coenraads advises clients on corporate governance for c-suite executives of listed companies. Financial services litigation is another focus of the firm, which often handles insolvency, crypto and funds litigation. Represented bondholders Generali Insurance Asset Management in a high-stakes and cross-border dispute against several (publicly traded) issuers of bonds of approx. a half billion euros.
