Successfully defended the LME in high-profile judicial review claims brought by Elliott Associates and Jane Street Global Trading challenging the decisions made by the LME in relation to the nickel market, by which the Claimants sought approximately $470 billion in damages under the Human Rights Act.
Advising Albanwise Wallace Estates on a claim for a declaration of incompatibility in the domestic courts that the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act 2024 reforms are a disproportionate and unjustified interference with its rights under Article 1 of the First Protocol to the European Convention on Human Rights, as well as protective proceedings in the European Court of Human Rights.
