A&O Shearman is noted for its capabilities in advising on private credit and private equity funds, including closed-ended, open-ended and hybrid fund structures. Beyond its activity in the formation and fundraising space, the team also advises institutional investors on their investments into private funds. Matt Huggett is instructed on both fund establishment and regulatory mandates. John Adams focuses on UK and European regulation.
