Caroline has built a sophisticated and highly regarded mediation practice. She particularly focuses on the workplace and employment arena where she deals with highly sensitive and complex cases involving multi-party/ multi-cultural stakeholders, but she has a broad commercial and civil practice too which further adds to her credibility. As a highly skilled executive coach with a deep belief that ‘everything is possible’, Caroline brings hope where parties have often had none.

In her role as CEO of Sheridan Worldwide, Caroline has won numerous awards from Mediator of the Year to HR and Lloyd’s Market L&D Supplier of the year.

Caroline frequently mediates highly emotional and contentious cases concerning allegations of breach of contract, race/sex discrimination, bullying and victimisation, professional negligence, management and union relations, relationship breakdown, partnership disagreements, sales of businesses between two or more individuals to teams and groups, and multi-party complex disputes with regulatory/ international implications.

Her sector experience includes partnerships; finance, insurance and banking; cross-border; family businesses; public sector/ healthcare; media and hospitality; the voluntary sector; education; trade unions; and private industry.

She has been influential more broadly in creating awareness of the importance of mediation globally. In 2025 she has lectured to the Mediation Institute in Mumbai at its specific invitation. Former Board Director for the Civil Mediation Council (CMC), she now sits on its Mediation Standards Board where she remains instrumental in commissioning content to ensure mediators are trained in mental health/neurodiversity as part of their registration application.

Sheridan Worldwide is a regular sponsor of and speaker at mediation-related conferences for a variety of organisations including the CMC and Acas, and provides mediation-related training to clients and their advisers.

Career

Founder and CEO of Sheridan Worldwide, a coaching and leadership consultancy focused on realising brilliance in people and organisations., in part through improving their dispute resolution skills, Caroline both runs the business and maintains her personal practices as Mediator and Executive Coach.

With a strong commercial background, Caroline worked at Director and Board level in investment banking and held Head of Compliance and HR roles for both UK and international corporates and finance institutions. Caroline was a registered SFA trader and in her role as Compliance Officer reported directly to the Board and CEO.

She later expanded her experience by taking up Director roles in Business Development and Marketing in Talent Development and Executive Coaching organisations. She has extensive experience in supporting global financial and top FTSE 100 companies in dealing with the people aspects of organisational change.
