Acted for Turkish-owned shipping company, Palmali Shipping SA, in its US$175 million claim against Litasco SA, a subsidiary of the Russian oil giant Lukoil, in relation to an alleged breach of a contract of affreightment.
Represented WWRT Limited in its claim and associated enforcement proceedings against Ukrainian oligarch, Sergey Maksimov, to recover assets worth around £80 million misappropriated from the now defunct Ukrainian bank VAB.
