Wordstone Dispute Resolution AARPI, set up in January 2024, is a boutique law firm that specialises in international arbitration, operating out of Paris and with a presence in Bogota and London. The firm was created by three former Dechert employees, Eduardo Silva Romero, José Manuel García Represa and Catalina Echeverri Gallego, and has been active on both sides of ICSID disputes as well as commercial arbitration matters, typically representing Latin American states, including Argentina, Ecuador and Colombia. The practice operates across multiple economic sectors, frequently advising clients in energy, oil and gas, and mining, as highlighted by its representation of The Republic of Colombia in a mining port operation investment claim. Silva-Romero, former co-chair of Dechert’s international arbitration practice, has over 25 years of experience acting in investment and commercial arbitrations with a focus on states and state-owned entities. Partner and co-founder Garcia Represa is dual-qualified in New York and Madrid, while Echeverri Gallego and Audrey Caminades, previously associates at Dechert, have taken on partner-level roles here. Ruxandra Irina Esanu stands out at the associate level. Javier Echeverri Díaz left the firm in August 2025.
