Work highlights

Acting as Kenyan counsel to Open Society Foundation in respect of Kenyan employees who were impacted by the Foundation’s global restructuring.
Representing Nestle Kenya Ltd following some unionisable employees filing a claim against it, alleging that the senior members of the Union had entered into a Settlement Agreement to settle a claim in respect of wrongful redundancy and execution of an addendum in respect of a Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Represented Dell Emerging Markets (EMEA) Ltd in an arbitration in which the issue in contention was allegations of unfair termination of employment and the legal implications of, inter alia, an employer giving an employee a settlement agreement to avoid termination on grounds of poor performance.
