Acting for the pension scheme in defending a judgment by the Retirement Benefits Appeals Tribunal for unpaid retirement dues of approximately KES13.4bn by former employees of Telkom Kenya Ltd.
Acted for Standard Chartered Bank Kenya Ltd and the Trustees of the Standard Chartered Staff Retirement Pension Scheme in proceedings that commenced before the Chief Executive Officer of the Retirement Benefits Authority, who found that the benefits of the former employees of the Bank had been properly computed and dismissed the complaint.
Representing a corporation in a claim brought by its former employees challenging their termination of employment on the basis of forfeiture arising from absconding duty to carry out industrial action to enforce an award by the then Industrial Court where the corporation was ordered to increase their salaries by 25%.
