Walkers is instructed on both trust and commercial disputes, handling matters tied to the restructuring of high value trusts and removal of trustee applications, in addition to issues arising out of insolvency and shareholder disputes, among others. Heading the team is Nigel Sanders, whose wide-ranging litigation expertise spans contentious trusts and insolvency disputes, while Marc Seddon adds experience in matters tied to directors’ duties. Further contentious trusts specialism comes in the form of Richard Holden, who excels in advising on the application of Jersey customary law to commercial disputes. James Turnbull focuses on regulatory and fraud-related proceedings, while Charlotte Yates is sought after by trustees and beneficiaries and in insolvency matters. Simon Hurry joined the practice from the Cayman office of Collas Crill in October 2025.
