Ogier’s banking and finance practice tackles the gamut of lender-side matters, advising both sole lenders and syndicates on the provision of NAV facilities to Guernsey-domiciled funds. Real estate finance is also a core pillar of the firm’s offering, as is its ability to assist with the restructuring of loans via both contentious and non-contentious proceedings. Heading the group are Katrina Edge, whose expertise encompasses real estate and sustainable financing, and Bruce MacNeil, a specialist in leveraged finance deals and loan restructurings. Kate McCaffrey brings further fund and real estate finance experience and is also noted for her knowledge of borrower-side matters. James Lydeard departed in September 2024.
