Yutaka Miyoshi is a partner at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto (2006-present).  He focuses on patent, copyright, trademark and trade secret litigation, as well as a variety of IP-related transactions including M&A and licensing, while also engaging in many domestic and international high-profile lawsuits and technology transfers.  His practice covers a variety of industries, including drugs, bio-engineering, telecommunications, Internet-related businesses, game software, sports, and entertainment.  He also has vast experience handling cases in jurisdictions outside Japan, including the U.S. and Europe, as well as international arbitrations before ICC and JCAA.  His writing includes “Patent Litigation in Japan” (co-author, Practical Law, 2018) and “Trade Mark Litigation” (co-author, The European Lawyer Ltd., 2013).
