Ms. Nuna Lerner is a partner at Gornitzky GNY.

Nuna is a partner in the International Arbitration and Transnational Litigation Practice Group based in Tel Aviv, as part of the Tier 1 International Arbitration team (The Legal 500).

She has extensive experience representing clients in international commercial and investor-state arbitrations under the rules of the major arbitral institutions, as well as in ad hoc proceedings and before Israeli courts.

She is recognized by Lexology as a Global Elite Thought Leader Under 45 and a recommended lawyer for Arbitration in Israel. She is also the only Israeli to have won the Lexology Client Choice Awards for Arbitration & ADR in Israel for several consecutive years.

Prior to joining the firm, Nuna worked as a litigation associate in the Dispute Resolution teams of Herbert Smith Freehills and Slaughter and May in London.

Nuna’s recent notable engagements include:

• Successfully acted and settled a $400 million renewable energy multiparty, multijurisdictional dispute.
• Ongoing representation of Israeli infrastructure and transportation companies in a 140 million euro ICC arbitration.
• Successfully represented a Thai construction company in a 350 million THB Thai Arbitration Institute arbitration and subsequently achieved successful enforcement (against a setting aside motion) of the TAI award in Bangkok, Thailand.
• Successfully represented the minority shareholders of an international cosmetics company, ultimately securing compensation of over $50 million for the clients.
• Successfully settled an ICC London-seated arbitration and mediation between a large US military facilities company and an Israeli public construction company.
• Successfully represented the legal estate of a high-net-worth individual in a dispute under the rules of the Commercial Arbitration Court in Hungary.
• Ongoing representation of an international hospitality corporation in the enforcement of ICC awards in Israel worth 111 million NIS.

• Successfully settled an ICC insurance arbitration for one of the largest insurance companies in Israel against multiple respondents.

• Representing an Israeli construction company in a multi-million dollar ad hoc arbitration concerning the construction of three data centers in Israel.
• Representing a European sovereign in objecting to the enforcement of an American judgment before the Israeli courts.
• Representing a German company in the enforcement of a EUR 48 million ICSID award before the Israeli courts.
• Represented the claimant in a EUR 883.7 million SCC investor-state arbitration against the government of a European country.
