Work highlights

Advised Unipharm on the successful registration of its trademark "AZOMAX" in Honduras, to which the Intellectual Property Office objected, arguing that the trademark applied for by the client was not eligible for registration because it was similar to the registered trademark "ASOMA".
Won an appeal before the Superintendence of Resources of the Property Registry of Honduras and set a precedent in the transition to new technologies, no longer requiring a formal programme of apostilled signature for the registration of the transmission contracts on behalf of Navega, S.A. de C.V. (Millicom).
Advised Retail Brands on the successful registration of its trademark “PRONTO MINIX” in Honduras, to which the Intellectual Property Office objected, arguing that the trademark applied for by the client was not eligible for registration because it was similar to the registered trademark “BIMBO MINIX”.
