Recently,
GvW Graf von Westphalen was instructed by (public) clients as well as construction and engineering companies to particularly often advise on large-scale projects. This included the development of sustainable urban districts, while the group recently also received an increasing number of instructions stemming from the energy sector and specifically in connection with the construction of connection and cable lines. The team is further well versed in industry-specific dispute resolution; practice head Thomas Senff handles out-of-court disputes, while also advising on large-scale construction and plant construction projects. Managing partner Robert Theissen's consulting portfolio includes the design of IPA contracts and partnership models as well as structural and civil engineering and infrastructure construction projects, while Moritz Koch, who made partner in January 2024, covers architects' law in addition to private construction law. Johannes Räther (construction and property law) and Jeannette Bergfeld (construction law, litigation) were also promoted to the partnership at the same time.
