At ARQIS, environmental and planning matters are handled within its Public & Regulatory Law practice. Instructions often concern ESG, sustainability, the energy transition and the new EU Green Deal. The client base includes energy suppliers, project financiers and construction companies, whom the group assists with administrative and planning approval procedures and environmental investigations as well as building permits; it further advises on water, nature conservation and mining law, while also being experienced in both contracts and litigation. In January 2024, practice head Friedrich Gebert made partner; he deals with ESG issues and is also experienced in litigation . Astrid Seehafer, who is experienced in product compliance, joined Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH in November 2024.
