A core strength is the group’s vast technical know-how within the life sciences and telecoms sectors. Gisbert Hohagen oversees the firm’s German patent technology and life sciences practice group. Practitioners regularly appear before the UPC, and the team also has a robust track record in pan-European patent litigation. Christian Lederer, Dietrich Kamlah, Anja Lunze, Michael Schächinger and Jan Phillip Rektorschek left the firm in late 2025 as part of the founding of PENTARC.
