Hoffmann Eitle

Hoffmann Eitle strengthened its patent litigation offering following a merger with Hoffmann Eitle‘s Düsseldorf office in January 2025. The firm divides its team across chemistry, biotechnology, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering IP departments to provide clients with specialist technical knowledge. The team also leverages its network of IP professionals across Europe and Asia to provide trade marks and design advice, and patent litigation and licensing across jurisdictions. Alongside this, the team advises clients on EPO opposition work. Key team members include Peter Klusmann, Klemens Stratmann, Leo Polz and Joseph Taormino. Matthias Kindler  retired in December 2024. The merger saw Gregor König, Carla Roth, Dorothea Von Renesse, and Lars Hemsath join the team.
