Jones Day often represents employee representative bodies, advising on collective labour law issues, and restructuring transactions with an employment law angle, in addition to company pension issues. Practice head Friederike Steininger, who also oversees the Munich’s office, is at the forefront of the group’s contentious, such as labour court disputes with local works councils, and non-contentious mandates, such as negotiation of works council agreements.
