One of Germany’s preeminent law firms for corporate law, Hengeler Mueller is regularly instructed by companies of all sizes for legal and organisational matters. Its work involves corporate structuring, reorganisations, restructurings, joint ventures, M&A, and spin-offs. Another central focus is supporting management and supervisory boards on governance, compliance, capital markets law, remuneration issues, and shareholder relations and disputes. The core team includes Maximilian Schiessl, who advises boards on corporate, M&A, and restructuring matters; Christian Wentrup, who places a strong emphasis on corporate succession and shareholder disputes; Jochen Vetter, who focuses on shareholders’ meetings, securities law, and public takeovers; and Lucina Berger, who specialises in corporate governance and compliance, as well as board and director liability matters.
