Gide Loyrette Nouel‘s Paris-based team operates in close cooperation with the London office and also regularly draws on the firm’s expertise in other fields such as insurance. The team covers a comprehensive range of arbitration disputes, including commercial and investment arbitration cases, where it represents leading companies in matters linked to various industries such as mining, oil and gas, renewables, construction, aviation and defence. The practice is managing a number of sensitive disputes involving Russian sanctions and is also one of the International Chamber of Commerce’s key advisers in proceedings before French courts. Exequatur and set-aside proceedings are also a strong area of expertise, while many of the firm’s partners also sit as arbitrators. The arbitration practice is co-headed by Parisian partners Carole Malinvaud, Christian Camboulive and Alexandra Munoz and London-based partners Saadia Bhatty and Rupert Reece. Support is provided by Sacha Willaume and Astrid Westphalen.
