Fielding a ‘complete team with extensive knowledge in litigation’, Deloitte (Colombia) turbocharged its dispute resolution practice in February 2024 with the hire of a one-partner group from CMM Estudio Legal. The most high-profile arrival was new department head Guillermo Cáez, who contributes experience in civil, commercial, and administrative litigation. Other new additions include former co-ordinating associate — now legal manager — Antony Palacios, who supports on commercial disputes, constitutional law matters and bankruptcy proceedings, among cases. During 2024/25, the team advised on judicial disputes across a comprehensive spread of industries, including financial services, infrastructure, telecoms, retail and consumer goods.
