The team also stands out for its capability in regulatory work, with its growing activity in fintech-related matters particularly impressing. Managing partner Carlos Fradique-Méndez is highly sought after for his expertise in both finance transactions and regulatory issues; he recently paired up with talented next-generation partner María Fernanda Diago to advise Colombian energy giant, Ecopetrol, on a $250m loan provided by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. César Felipe Rodríguez is a go-to expert for banking and finance, energy and infrastructure work; together with Fradique-Méndez, he represented a syndicate of foreign financial institutions on a $330m lending transaction.
