Susan (Xiaona) Wang specializes in Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Cross-Border Investment and M&A, Cross-Border Asset Restructures and Disposal, FDI Review, as well as Data Safety and Privacy Protection. She has extensive experience in corporate and M&A matters, with a particular focus on outbound investment by state-owned and privately-owned enterprises. With 17 years of professional experience across Europe and China, Susan has worked at Morrison Foerster LLP, King & Wood Mallesons, and Dentons (Europe and Beijing offices). Susan is dedicated to providing full-spectrum legal services for the “going global” initiatives of Chinese enterprises, particularly in Cross-Border Investment and M&A. She has represented clients across a wide range of industries, including renewable energy, oil and gas, mineral resources, bio-medicine, intelligent manufacturing, big data, e-commerce, media, and agriculture, accumulating extensive hands-on experience in these sectors.

Susan has been featured in the “Smoothing the Silkroad: China and CEE Roundtable” hosted by CEE Legal Matter, and has been interviewed by China Radio International and bne Intellinews on the impact of Chinese investment in Central and Eastern Europe. She was also invited by Hungary local TV BH Belfordi Hirek- MCOnet to discuss investment trends of Chinese enterprises in Hungary and Europe.

Susan was named “Outstanding International Lawyer” by the Latin American in 2015. From 2023 to 2025, she has been enlisted for three consecutive years  “Top Recommended Lawyers by General Counsel of Leading Chinese Enterprises.”
