Originally founded as Salgado & O’Ryan Abogados in late 2025, the growing boutique now rebranded as O'SP Legal can draw on a number of figures formerly at DLA Piper Chile, notably, as regards projects and infrastructure, practice head Diego Peña and founding partner Marco Salgado. Peña advises primarily on power generation, transmission, mining and desalination projects, while Salgado also has considerable infrastructure experience, as part of a broader practice that also takes in corporate and M&A, corporate governance and life sciences. Both have expertise advising sponsors, lenders, contractors, and operators on energy and natural resources projects, and the pair can call on Mauricio Halpern, an expert in structuring credit facilities, regarding financing matters. Key associate support comes from Claudio Sepúlveda, who also focuses on infrastructure and construction projects, along with M&A.
