The labour law group at Morales & Besa covers day-to-day business operations, collective bargaining negotiations, labour documentation, employee terminations, and executive employment contracts. The six-member practice is also experienced in labour litigation and immigration law. The team is led by labour and social security law specialist, Valentina Morales, whose ‘experience stands out’. Raised to partner during 2024, Morales’ expertise encompasses collective bargaining, union affairs, labour mediation, and employment recruitment, as well as terminations, labour-related audits, due diligence, immigration law, and labour lawsuits. At senior associate level, Cristian Cornejo assists with hiring and dismissal processes, collective bargaining, immigration, and lawsuits for violation of fundamental rights, unjustified dismissals, work accidents and occupational diseases. Since publication, the firm has experienced a spin off (in April 2026) led by the firm's original founding partners, Guillermo Morales and Eugenio Besa; the newly formed, 14-strong Morales Besa Eyzaguirre Abogados, includes the senior labour team comprised by (Valentina) Morales and Cornejo. The original M&B has since hired Francisca Ramírez Jara who returns to the firm as a partner after some seven years at Carvallo Bizzarri y Garcia Abogados - effective as of May 2026.
