DLA Piper Chile's litigation team has notable experience in civil and commercial lawsuits, consumer law, unfair competition, and trade mark and patent disputes. It also acts in domestic and international arbitration proceedings. The group acts at every stage of litigation, its expertise ranging from pre-trial negotiations and document preparation to summary judgment motions, courtroom trials, appellate advocacy and enforcement actions. The group is led by civil litigation and arbitration specialist Josefa Larraín, a November 2024 recruit (as partner) from Albagli Zaliasnik, who ‘demonstrates extensive knowledge of the legal issues in dispute’. The team also includes senior associate Vesna Torres, who acts in construction, mining, electricity and consumer law disputes. Former counsel Catalina Amenábar departed the firm in March 2025 to co-found her own practice.
