Recent contentious mandates at full-service firm Morales & Besa range from a residential housing project dispute, to an insurance-related damages claim and a constitutional rights matter that was brought by courier companies. The 10-strong department is also experienced in disputes concerning infrastructure projects, public hospitals, insolvency proceedings, class actions, fraud cases, and contractual and IP litigation. Group head Gonzalo Cordero predominantly acts in litigation and arbitration, particularly in relation to infrastructure and construction disputes, as well as public-private partnership-related conflicts; and at director level, Juan Ignacio Eymin's caseload includes administrative, civil and commercial matters. In the senior associate team, Nicolas Corbeaux acts in construction, infrastructure, energy and public works concession-related disputes; María Jesús Poblete specialises in civil, commercial and arbitration proceedings; and Arantza Pons focuses on dispute resolution, along with insolvencies and reorganisations.
